Room dividers are used in many different ways. In large part, where the screen is used will often determine what type of screen is best suited for the job.
Hotels and restaurants usually use two types of room divider screens. A common example are floor to ceiling screens, these allow large sections of rooms to be cordoned off for functions and events. Some hotels and restaurants may also make use of smaller more portable partitions to section of individual tables, or for other uses.
Public halls and convention centres have large open spaces, and divider screens are often used in order to break them down into smaller areas. One example involves using a pipe and drape screen that is able to be opened and closed easily. This can include frames made of metal, using fabric material which is hung over the top to create a backdrop to cover certain sections or walls.
